Why give? We must give as God gives regardless of what religion or philosophy we practice. Joyful generosity infuses the message with a cheerful challenge to view every part of one’s life as something to be received gracefully from God and shared generously with others. The generosity so defines our human nature as one of the few things on which people around the entire globe, though on different pathways can agree. The habit of giving only enhances the desire to give. The purpose of this book is to encourage the embracing of generosity as a virtue. There is a wonderful mythical law of nature that the three things we crave most in life–happiness, freedom and peace of mind–are always attained by giving them to others.
