About the Author :

Rita Boothby is certified as a professional counsellor and a marriage and family therapist. She has a B.A. in psychology and an M.C. in counselling from Arizona State University. Ms. Boothby has served as director for the Phoenix Chrysalis Shelter for Domestic Violence and as clinical supervisor for the Chrysalis Shelters in Scottsdale and Phoenix.
